Open Lessons
Open Lessons: £18 an hour, with a short clip before and after each lesson.
Open Lessons are real Glossalyse lessons, filmed with the learner’s written consent. Learners in Open Lessons pay half price for six months. The footage helps us train tutors, shows future learners what a Glossalyse hour is like, and may become a video series that follows a learner over time.
What you do
Record 30 to 60 seconds on your phone: what you plan to work on today, and why.
Teach as usual. The lesson is recorded in gallery view, so both of you are on screen.
Record 30 to 60 seconds: what went well, what you’d change, and what you’ll pick up next time.
Upload both clips from the lesson page in your workspace. Anything from 20 seconds to 2 minutes is accepted, as long as we can hear you.
Before you start, you read and accept the Open Lessons agreement. It says how the footage is used: training tutors, our websites, and possibly a video series.
Tutors who already teach with Glossalyse, by invitation. Places are limited: up to three tutors, each with up to two Open Lessons learners.
